The art of habits and rituals
Mar 17, 2022
Continuing the conversation from last week, it’s time to introduce the next fundamental of success: Habits & Rituals. Once you establish your Power of Two, the next phase is to make it a habit. Like many know, it takes at least 21 days to create a habit. Once you establish your Power of Two, ensure that you make a conscious effort to put your two actions into place and then you’ll see that you’ve created a small change within a month.
Like many instances, a small daily effort creates a large impact over time. When you and your team establish your Power or Two, be the one that reminds everyone of the two actions you all established previously. In the beginning it won’t be easy, but eventually it will become second nature. If it’s cold calling or sending emails, you will see the desired effect.
Even if it’s helping out a minimum of 5 new clients and making the reliable clients feel special, you and your clients will all walk away feeling satisfied! When you start each day, remind yourself of your power of two and slowly but surely, they will become a habit. Rituals are a series of actions that have an overarching purpose; once you cement your ritual, they will undoubtedly become easier.
